Steven Hawkins has extensive product core background knowledge in the areas of songwriting, record company operations, production, music publishing and licensing. He has been a panelist for ASCAP and others, and has years of applied experience as a record producer, A&R Director, audio-engineer/editor, and mastering engineer. As a composer and songwriter, he has well over 2000 works to his credit. Steven is a multiple instrument session musician, vocalist and synthesizer/MIDI programmer. He has experience in film as a composer, an effects/Foley artist and sound designer. Has worked as a studio manager and studio designer. Steven's background also includes work in advertising as a successful jingle writer/composer/producer, and voice characterization artist for radio stations and ad agencies. He has worked in radio as well as an on-air Disc Jockey, programming assistant, and on-air audio-engineer. Steven has received numerous music awards, a platinum record, biography in "Who's Who in the South & Southwest," and "Who's Who Among Young Professionals," and has played concert venues and/or recorded with name artists. |
